Regional Sales Manager with growth to VP
We are looking for a candidate to be the first salesperson in the US for a market leader selling Human Machine Interface (HMI) hardware solutions to the pharmaceutical sector.
COMPANY
- German founded mutlinational family-run business.
- Global leader in the HMI field that count 19 of the largest 20 global pharmaceutical companies as customers including AstraZeneca, Bayer, GSK & Pfizer).
- Products are particularly suitable to clean rooms.
- Headcount growth from 6 to 60 in the last decade with revenue growing 14% annually.
- Huge push on the US market, hiring a team in Apex, North Carolina.
- Existing US spend is $2m-$5m, they estimate this should reach $25m-$50m
ROLE
- Take ownership for the US market as the first sales rep.
- Selling directly in and around North Carolina and managing distributors for other territories in North America.
- Scope to progress into a VP Sales role and build a team.
- Salary is very flexible and will align to what a candidate desires and what their experience warrants, no budget.
REQUIREMENTS
- 10+ years B2B sales with at least 3 years in GMP/ Life Science / Pharmaceutical.
- Ambitious and entrepreneurial
- Able to travel to Germany for approximately 6 weeks in the first 6 months to embrace and learn their culture process and product.
