Solution Engineer

Our client is seeking a Solutions Engineer to design custom technical solutions for companies transitioning to a corporate Intellectual Property (IP) management system. This dynamic role combines the responsibilities of a Business Analyst and Project Manager, working closely with sales, product, and development teams to deliver seamless implementations and ensure client satisfaction. The ideal candidate will bring strong technical expertise, project management skills, and a customer-focused mindset to this multifaceted position.

 

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and implement tailored technical solutions aligned with client requirements.

• Manage project timelines and ensure the successful delivery of implementations.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to maintain solution compatibility.

• Lead technical sales presentations and software demonstrations.

• Draft detailed statements of work outlining client needs and proposed solutions.

• Conduct client workshops, analyze business processes, and recommend improvements.

• Perform quality assurance testing to support solution delivery.

• Coordinate data imports and address dataset issues for clients.

• Prepare and format client data for system imports using tools like Excel.

• Train clients on system functionalities and usage.

• Mentor junior engineers and lead technical project teams.

• Contribute to special projects as needed.

 

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.

• 5+ years of experience in software development, system architecture, or technical design.

• Proven project management experience.

• Familiarity with intellectual property concepts is preferred.

• Proficiency with Salesforce and the Microsoft Office Suite.

• Experience with Jira, Confluence, or Asana is a plus.

• Knowledge of programming and database structures is advantageous but not required.

• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.

• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences.

• Strong relationship-building skills and adaptability to changing project requirements.

 

Reporting Line:

This position reports directly to the Customer Experience Officer.

Business Development Manager (native French speaker) required in France (permanent, full time and fully remote).

Our client is a well-established and fast-growing language services provider with a turnover of £10 million headquartered in the UK and with further offices in France, Germany and the US.

They are actively looking for a Business Development Manager based in France to support their sales function and develop new business with new logos in the French market.

It is a permanent, full time and fully remote position based anywhere in France. Please note you have to be a native French speaker and based in France already.

We are looking for industry candidates who have experience in selling language services (translation & localization) within the French market.
