What You’ll Be Doing:

In this pivotal role, you will develop and oversee the D2C strategy while managing end-to-end customer journeys. Working closely with the Head of eCommerce and other departments, you will ensure all efforts align to build direct, meaningful, and scalable customer relationships.

Operational Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement a future-oriented D2C strategy to scale the business.
  • Build and optimize new sales channels such as social selling, pop-up stores, and subscription services.
  • Own the customer journey from initial interaction to purchase and aftercare, ensuring an exceptional experience at every stage.
  • Manage cross-channel collaboration with the Head of eCommerce, focusing on integration across Amazon, webshops, and new platforms.
  • Oversee personalization and customer retention projects, such as loyalty programs and tailored campaigns.

Strategic Responsibilities:

  • Manage and refine the overall D2C strategy, identifying growth opportunities and expanding the company’s reach.
  • Conduct market research, create business cases, and assess complexity and feasibility for new initiatives.
  • Take ownership of performance marketing channels (SEA, SEO, display, and paid social) to drive growth.
  • Oversee budget allocation and sales performance, ensuring optimal ROI.
  • Create, implement, and monitor display and affiliate marketing campaigns.
  • Analyze relevant KPIs and optimize campaigns for better targeting, scaling, and performance.
  • Integrate various channels into a unified database for personalized targeting.

Management Responsibilities:

  • Build and lead the D2C team, including hiring, mentoring, and conducting appraisals.
  • Foster team development by identifying potential and initiating tailored training programs.
  • Promote a culture of collaboration, creativity, and continuous improvement.

What You Bring to the Table:

  • Extensive experience in a leadership position within D2C, customer experience, or similar environments.
  • Proven success in creating and implementing D2C strategies that deliver measurable growth.
  • Expertise in customer relationship management (CRM), omnichannel marketing, and digital tools.
  • Strong understanding of performance marketing channels and analytics.
  • Data-driven mindset with a strong affinity for numbers and analytics.
  • Exceptional leadership, communication, and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to identify trends and translate them into actionable strategies.
