We’re currently supporting an innovative medical device company in Baden-Württemberg in expanding their team with a skilled Embedded System Software Engineer. As they continue to advance their technology and bring new ideas to life, they are looking for a dedicated Embedded System Software Engineer to contribute to their exciting journey and ongoing growth.
Your tasks:
Maintain and further develop firmware for existing products.
Program microcontrollers in C for ARM Cortex-M, including tasks such as secure firmware updates and battery management systems.
Implement BLE Low Energy interfaces to enable communication with web applications.
Perform regression testing to ensure compliance with regulatory standards and internal quality guidelines.
Create and manage Software Requirements Specifications (SRS) in alignment with industry standards.
Develop test applications, ideally using Python, to support software verification processes.

What is required:
A degree in electrical engineering, computer engineering, or a related field.
Few years of professional experience in embedded systems programming.
Strong problem-solving and analytical thinking skills.
Fluency in English (spoken and written).and an intermediate level of German language.
Experience with Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) and Version Control (GIT) is an advantage.
