Sales Manager/ Business Development Director

UK Based - Remote or London based
£60,000 - £85,000 + commission

We are seeking a dynamic and results-oriented Sales Manager/ Business Development Director to spearhead our growth in the UK market for a leading Interpreting Tech company. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced professional who has a proven track record of winning public sector contracts in the fields of interpreting and translation. As we enter the UK market, we need a self-starter who can not only secure new business but also build and lead a successful sales team.

In this role, you will leverage your experience with the Crown Commercial Service framework to drive sales initiatives, win public sector tenders, and expand our client base across the UK. You will be the first person dedicated to sales in this market, with existing successes to build upon.

Key Responsibilities

    • Lead the development and execution of sales strategies to drive growth in the UK market
    • Identify and pursue opportunities for public sector contracts, particularly within the Crown Commercial Service framework
    • Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders in interpreting and translation
    • Manage the tender process and ensure successful bids for public sector contracts
    • Develop and implement strategies to acquire new interpreting clients across the UK
    • Mentor and build a sales team to support long-term growth and success

Required Qualifications and Skills

    • Proven experience in winning public sector contracts for interpreting and translation services
    • Familiarity with the Crown Commercial Service framework and its processes
    • Strong track record in winning public sector tenders
    • Ability to establish and grow relationships with new interpreting clients in the UK
    • Self-starter with a proactive approach to sales and business development
    • Excellent team-building and leadership skills
