Our client is seeking a highly skilled Mid to Senior IT Specialist to join their team. As a key member of the IT department, you will work as a generalist with a high degree of independence and creative freedom, taking responsibility for complex IT projects and tasks.
This is a hybrid role requiring 3 days/week in our clients office in South Frankfurt, Germany.
Key Responsibilities:
* Develop IT concepts and manage (sub-)projects to ensure excellent implementation
* Manage and continuously optimize system and program structures, from Microsoft to 3CX-based virtual telephony environments
* Ensure seamless technical integration of all elements of the IT infrastructure and architecture
* Deploy internal and customer-facing web servers
* Provide second- and third-level support, ensuring all colleagues can work efficiently on the IT side
* Commission, communicate, and coordinate with external service providers until order completion
* Involve in procurement, integration, configuration, and maintenance of hardware and software
Requirements:
* Mastered secure handling of Microsoft operating systems (Server 2019 & 2022), AD, Microsoft 365, and basic knowledge of Linux operating systems (Debian, Ubuntu, etc.)
* Knowledge of MS SQL Servers is a plus point
* Familiarity with current data center, Microsoft, and security architectures, with experience in cloud environments, ideally in Microsoft Azure
* IT service management, incident management, ITIL, scripting/programming (e.g., with Powershell), IT security, VPN, and firewall (Sophos desirable) knowledge
* Familiarity with network services such as DHCP, DNS, NTP, NFS, and Cisco Meraki
* Generalist with a desire and interest in the whole range of IT tasks, with the ability to make decisions independently within agreed guidelines
* Experience in IT project management, with successful project management experience
* Good sense of user needs and ability to take them into account appropriately
