Position Overview:
We’re looking for a talented Internal Medical Translator to join our expanding in-house team. You’ll be central to ensuring that life sciences materials retain their technical accuracy, linguistic clarity, and regulatory compliance through expertly managed translation and localization efforts.
Key Responsibilities:
Translate written content from source to target language, preserving structure, tone, and meaning.
Research and apply industry-specific terminology with a focus on scientific and medical accuracy.
Collaborate with the internal team to refine and maintain linguistic assets (glossaries, style guides, translation memories).
Identify and communicate any gaps in translation instructions or source materials.
Support quality assurance efforts by proofreading for terminology, grammar, spelling, and punctuation.
Help ensure timely delivery of translations while upholding rigorous quality standards.
What We’re Looking For:
Native speaker of the advertised target language
Fluency in the source language(s)
Minimum of 3 years' experience in translating, reviewing, and editing life sciences content, particularly clinical trial documentation
Either:
A university degree in translation or linguistics and at least 3 years of translation experience
OR no degree and a minimum of 5 years of proven translation experience
Experience working with translation management systems and CAT tools (e.g., Trados, MemoQ, etc.)
Strong commitment to accuracy, quality, and continuous improvement
